Quarterly Fellowship
BABY DEDICATION
This is where parents choose to have their children dedicated to the
Lord. As it was with Hannah and 1 Samuel 1:19-28 in her appreciation
to God's faithfulness of blessing her with a child.
WATER BAPTISM
The word Baptize, come from the Greek word, Bapto. This Greek word
means "to dip, to immerse, to cover wholly (completely)." There are
three things that occur when you are baptized. You are immersed,
submerged, and emerged (read Acts 8:38-39; Matthew 4:16). Baptism
symbolizes the death of the old man/woman of sin (our carnal
natures) and a resurrection to a new life in Christ Jesus ( Romans
6-3:8; Hosea 2:19,20)
COMMUNION
Also know as the Lord's supper, The holy communion is a sacrament
instituted by the Lord Jesus Chris Himself during His last Passover
meal with His disciples. "The Lord Jesus, on the night He was
betrayed, Took bread, and with He had thanks,. He broke it and said,
This is my body given from yol do this in remembrance of me." In the
same way, after supper He took the cup, saying , ' This cup is the
new covenant in My blood do this, whenever you drink, in remembrance
of me ( 1 Corinthians 11:24-25).
EN-JOY FELLOWSHIP
This is a quarterly fellowship where the ministry teams of the
church (this involves all members of SOJ) where we come together and
the 3 F's (Fun, Fellowship, Forgiveness) in a potluck dinner.
And then we return back to church that Sunday evening with
people from each ministry team sharing the experience of their
fellowship. each ministry team
BIRTHDAY FELLOWSHIP
Celebrating birthdays of all individuals who had their birthday
during that quater.
This is done the 1st Sunday of every month.
April 16th 10:15 AM * EASTER EXPLOSION - Come join us as we
celebrate Easter on April 16th. Service starts at 10:15AM.
April 21st 7PM - 1st Annual Seed of Joy Talent Show.
